You will provide constructive challenge, practical guidance and quality assurance expertise, helping us deliver safe, effective and genuinely person-centred support.
The role
As a visible and trusted partner to operational teams and senior leaders, you will use evidence from audits, incidents, complaints and people’s experiences to identify good practice, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading quality reviews and audits against CQC requirements and organisational standards.
- Producing clear reports and supporting services to implement effective improvement plans.
- Identifying themes, risks and learning across services.
- Supporting investigations into incidents and complaints, including root-cause analysis.
- Promoting person-centred practice, meaningful outcomes and least-restrictive approaches.
- Working with Positive Behaviour Support colleagues to improve practice and reduce incidents.
- Involving people we support as Experts by Experience in assessing and improving quality.
- Supporting effective governance, risk management and the use of digital care systems, including Nourish.
- Contributing to the development and mobilisation of new services.

- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks.
- Experience of auditing, quality assurance and service improvement.
- Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
- The confidence to influence and constructively challenge colleagues at all levels.
- A collaborative, organised and proactive approach.
- A strong commitment to rights-based, person-centred support.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car with appropriate business-use insurance.
This is a field-based role involving frequent travel. You must live within reasonable travelling distance of the areas covered and be comfortable travelling regularly between services.
A relevant professional qualification or degree is desirable, although equivalent knowledge and experience are equally welcomed.
What we offer
- £3,000 annual car allowance.
- Flexible, field-based working with autonomy.
- Regular professional development and CPD opportunities.
- The opportunity to influence quality across the organisation.
- A supportive, collaborative and values-led culture.
- The chance to make a meaningful difference to the people we support.
