Salary: £43,000 per annum + £2,000 Car Allowance
Location: Cheshire West & Liverpool
Full-Time | On-Call Rota

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Operations Manager – Complex Services to join our team and play a key role in leading and supporting the operational delivery across five specialist services throughout Cheshire West and Liverpool.

Our services support individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, many of whom have complex health and behavioural needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced operational leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and empowering teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we support.

About the role

Reporting to the Registered Area Manager, you will take responsibility for supporting and managing the operational teams across our five schemes, ensuring our services consistently deliver safe, effective and high-quality support.

You will work closely with Registered Managers and frontline teams, providing leadership, guidance and operational oversight. You’ll also have the support of a dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, working collaboratively to ensure individuals receive support that is tailored to their needs and promotes positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong, visible leadership and operational support across five complex services.
  • Supporting and developing operational teams to deliver outstanding, person-centred care and support.
  • Ensuring services operate safely, effectively and in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with Registered Managers, healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.
  • Supporting teams to manage complex health and behavioural needs effectively.
  • Promoting positive risk management, safeguarding and best practice.
  • Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across all services.
  • Supporting the development of a positive, motivated and accountable team culture.
  • Responding to operational challenges and providing effective solutions.
  • Participating in the on-call rota to provide management support outside of normal working hours.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can combine strong operational leadership with genuine compassion and a commitment to improving people’s lives.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in an operational or senior management role within health, social care or a related setting.
  • Experience in Supported Living.
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, particularly those with complex health or behavioural needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to make decisions and manage challenging situations effectively.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding, risk management and quality standards.
  • A positive, solution-focused approach and the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, families and external professionals.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as the role covers services across Cheshire West and Liverpool.

What we can offer you
